Robbinah founded the Imbabazi Center for Women and Children to address the challenges faced by vulnerable women and children in her community. Growing up where cultural norms undervalued the education of girls, she saw young girls married off at seventeen and treated as a source of dowry income rather than as individuals with potential. She and her six sisters had parents who understood the value of education — and that contrast became the reason this centre exists.
Her work is a testament to her commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality in her community.
