Education

At ICWAC our key activity is supporting school-going children by paying their school fees and meeting some of their educational needs.

Currently ICWAC supports 62 children at different levels of education, including primary school, secondary school and universities. This support enables children from vulnerable and disadvantaged families to remain in school and continue with their education without being interrupted by a lack of school fees.

Education equips girls with knowledge and skills, enabling them to participate equally in society and make informed decisions about their lives. It helps break the cycle of gender inequality, which is often rooted in cultural belief.

What the programme covers:

- Access to quality primary and secondary education
- Vocational training for youth and women
- Functional adult literacy classes for women
- School supplies, uniforms and scholastic materials
- Mentorship and career guidance for older students
